[Project Highlight] Successful Rockfall Interception at Xubi Railway K193+810 Section
At the Yaojia Mountain Tunnel exit of Xubi Railway’s K193+810 section, our innovative protection systems demonstrated exceptional performance:
• 75m-high slope with weathered dangerous rock mass located 45m from rail line
• Over 35m³ of rockfall successfully intercepted by combined systems:
– GPS-300-0 Guided Protection Network
– PPS-300 Passive Protection Network
• Intercepted rockfall located 17m above protection system
• Impact energy reached 13,000 kJ – exceeding nominal protective capacity by 300%
Maintenance Update:
The protection system completed in December 2023 is currently undergoing component replacement and maintenance by our specialized technicians commissioned by the project department, ensuring full restoration of protective capabilities.
